Ok, after "What is SARnet?" I want to write about the history/how it started... "When and How SARnet Started?"

So, what we know about it? Does anyone know anything about the origin of the SARnet?

Alright, it seems that everyone (specifically @Josh Wrmr852 and @Luis Rodriguez) approves of my description of SARnet. Now, what should our next topic be? Should we delve into "How SARnet works?" or perhaps explore the "History of SARnet"? Or do you have any other suggestions?

What is SARnet?

SARnet, which stands for "Statewide Amateur Radio Network", is a network of linked UHF radio repeaters in the state of Florida, USA. The primary purpose of SARnet is to provide reliable and extensive communication coverage for emergency situations and other events where communication is critical. It is operated and maintained by local trustees, and allows licensed amateur radio operators to communicate with each other. SARnet is an important resource for the state of Florida and the amateur radio community.
